Hidden in the enchanting landscape of the Austrian Burgenland region, you will find the family-owned winery Meinklang, which harmonizes beautifully with the rich surrounding nature. With an unwavering commitment to biodynamic viticulture, Meinklang's inspiring winemaker Wolfgang Peck creates distinctive wines that bring to life the essence of their terroir and the irresistible charm of the land.
Meinklang's approach to winemaking is deeply rooted in biodynamic agriculture. The vineyard, a thriving biotope, is a refuge for natural ponds, cover crops and wild herbs that nourish and protect the soil, contributing to the health and robustness of the vines. The use of home-grown compost, together with the principles of creating a balanced farm organism, ensures that each vine thrives in a living, dynamic soil, producing grapes with unique character and intense flavor.
In the glass, "Epic" shows off a strong straw yellow color with light bronze reflections. The nose is greeted with floral and spicy notes of Muskateller and Veltliner, complemented by a fine citrus edge and sourness from the Welschriesling. On the palate the wine is a symphony of floral and spicy aromas, balanced by slender acidity and a delicate bubble. This cuvée makes a perfect party wine for grand celebrations or a serene summer picnic, offering an excellent balance between approachability and casual elegance.
