Collection: Loco Labels

Let's face it; what's the first thing you look at in a wine? The label! I often quickly become suspicious of trendy labels because they try to disguise something. It has taken me on a quest to find winemakers who put attention into every aspect of their wine from the grape to the label! It allows you to pick out the hottest labels with confidence and impress your friends!

For the white wines we have a great wine in every price category and type of wine! First up we have Martin Codax's fresh Spanish Godello! Wonderfully fresh for a sunny day or a Friday afternoon drink! In addition, we have the Lugana of Ca' del Prato! A beautiful medium full wine with perfection down to the last sip. Juicy, fruity yet fresh and elegant. Balanced and balanced. The taste is perfectly balanced! As last white wine we have a white wine from Limoux South of France. In the scent, this Limoux Oppidum Chateau de Gaure has aromas of yellow fruit, a little almonds and honey. A really great full white wine!

Quickly open a bottle of rosé in between with the lovely sun outside? That goes perfectly with the Italian Nespolino made from Sangiovese! A delicious, light rosé of sangiovese from Romagna.

For the red wine lover, we've got a light South African Pinotage made by a couple of "Bad Brothers" that's perfect for the appetizer (note the Pinotage's classic smoky aroma that you have to enjoy)! The second red wine on the list is an unusual Sangiovese from an unknown region with an awesome label! Deliciously fruity and dangerously easy to drink! Then you can open the Malbec "Little Fuck" with the main course. The project to arrive at the wine has caused a lot of frustration for the winemaker (hence the name), but has resulted in a beautiful full-bodied and spicy wine!

Then we have the "Double Ripasse" which is a classic Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre blend, but what makes it unique (, fuller and unfortunately also more expensive) is that it is made in the style of an Italian Amarone. They let the grapes dry before turning them into wine. It is therefore a gigantic full-bodied wine that is easier to drink than you think. The nice thing is that this wine has a nice label on both sides of the bottle (the back remains a surprise until you order it ;) )!
