The Vermentino di Sargegna is a symbolic label of Sardinia, made with the main and most common white grape variety on the island. The Vermentino grape likes a warm and windy climate. The vineyards of Sa Raja manage to capture this combination all too well. It results in a high-quality white wine with fruity aromas and a balanced taste.
The Vermentino di Sa Raja is the most representative wine of this young winery, located in the center of the Gallura region. In the north of Sardinia, the estate extends over a beautiful hilly area with vineyards at an altitude of about 500 meters above sea level. The vines are planted on soils consisting mainly of song. There is a hot and dry climate, always very windy due to the constant presence of the Mistral.
The Vermentino wine produced by the Sardinian winery Sa Raja captures the authentic essence of the land of Gallura. The warm sunny days, the clear and blue sky supported by a pleasant wind. The typical scents of wild herbs are captured in the glass. The Vermentino colors clear and light yellow in the glass. The aromas are intense and rich, reminiscent of white flowers, ripe tropical fruit and aromatic herbs. The taste is broad and harmonious with many fruit notes. This white wine is perfectly balanced and has a savory and fresh aftertaste in the finish.
