Verzenay, a traditional village in the Champagne region, located in the heart of the Montagne de Reims, is the birthplace of Maison Quenardel et Fils. It is one of 17 villages (out of 320) in Champagne classified as 100% Grand Cru. Their vineyards of 7 hectares are home to the three grape varieties of Champagne. The Pinot Noir gives strength and character to the champagne, the Chardonnay provides finesse and the Pinot Meunier provides flexibility and fruit. Several generations of winemakers, all committed to the traditions of Champagne, have ensured that you can enjoy a champagne grown and made on the estate itself. Maison Quenardel et Fils is a 'récoltant-manipulant': they guarantee that they only make champagnes from their own harvest.
The nose of this Champagne has aromas of white flowers and citrus. The Pinot Noir gives a powerful character to the Champagne, while the Chardonnay provides the complement of finesse. Quenardel et Fils grows and makes all its products on the domain itself and guarantees to only use its own harvest.
