Joseph Faiveley Chardonnay is a single-varietal Chardonnay white wine made by Domaine Faiveley under the AOC Bourgogne in Bourgogne, France. The grapes used to make Joseph Faiveley Chardonnay come from a variety of vineyards with limestone loamy soils across the region and are vinified in the special cellar at Nuits-Saint-Georges, which dates back to the 19th century and has the perfect conditions for maturation.

The grapes are harvested entirely by hand and brought to the 19th-century cellar with the utmost care. To make great Burgundy wines, Erwan Faiveley combines the principles of modern viticulture with traditional maturation in French oak barrels. All this contributes to the high esteem in which Faiveley wines are held.

The wine matures in the chais in Nuits-Saint-Georges for 8 to 10 months. Part of the cuvée, depending on the vintage, matures in barrels. These barrels come from quality coopers and are carefully selected for their fine structure and slightly toasty character. The vines have an average age of 50 years. The result is a golden yellow wine with light green tones. Pleasant, intense aroma of white blossom. This firm wine gives a balanced and full mouth-feel and is organoleptically a Burgundian highlight.
