We have known the Decordi family for a long time, they make fantastic wines and proseccos. The Decordi family has been active in Italian wines since 1921, with great success. Initially they only made Lambrusco wines, but since the arrival of Quirico Decordi Junior in 1973, the winery made a big step towards the most beautiful wines. In 2005 the fourth generation even took over the family winery and the wines and proseccos are still made with a lot of love and dedication.
The Glera vines are planted on sedimentary and weathered rock bottoms, which provides a nice foundation. This Italian wine exudes an extraordinary European charm that clearly underlines the Old World. The Glera grapes are harvested entirely by hand when the grapes are optimally ripe. After this, the grapes are taken to the winery as quickly as possible. There they end up on the sorting table where the grapes are ground after a strict selection. This is followed by fermentation at controlled temperature followed by maturation in stainless steel
This light-footed Prosecco sparkles in the glass with a beautiful bright yellow color. The expressive aromas of jasmine, violet and apple are immediately released. Supplemented with fruity nuances. It has a silky taste in the mouth with concise fruit acids and above all it is nice and fresh and lively. The aftertaste is pleasantly long where we also find hints of jasmine. A delicious wine with fish dishes.
